Today I would like to respond to what I perceive as a most dangerous game.IE/WEBSTER DICTIONARY: : a procedure or strategy for gaining an end :that is a trend of evangelization that is divorced from centuries of sound moral and natural laws.
I am acquainting myself with Andrew Marin and was reading his Blog to try to catch a cleaner picture on where he is coming from on his approach to presenting the Gospel of Christ. Marin is by no means the only one with this approach,but it is an approach that in my opinion is fatally flawed. First in Andrew's blog LOVE IS AN ORIENTATION HE SEEMS TO BE GOING AFTER  Robert Gagnon for well im not sure but maybe tooting his horn on his life experience pedigree. If he is well It kinda came at me that way to,however his pedigree is to impressive for me to dismiss out of hand,plus maybe he was not tooting his horn.  Andrew says:

We can continue to politically fight a drawn-out battle with a government that is not governed through an evangelical worldview, producing more casualties for Christ. Or we can learn right now what it means to live in relation to, and relationship with LGBT people as gay marriage is legalized—continuing to actively show Christ's compelling nature regardless of state or national policy. The choice is ours. Andrew talks about living with tension in this ministry of reconciliation that he is involved in,but where Andrew is the Balance?.For you see Andrew seems to have to many generalities,assumptions,and presumptions in this short spot. For we need to keep fighting politically or at least until we are vanquished and have this option unavailable to the Church. However we will continue to be balanced by loving society with the same love for and with Christ as we do in the political spectrum. Andrew if you say we are not doing this you overstate your argument. If you say we do so imperfectly well come on in the water is warm.Dear Andrew you say and I quote:  

It’s not about me, no matter how much they claim it is. Never has been about me. Never will be about me. They think they’re out to destroy me, but there’s a whole lot out there they can’t see that they would have to destroy first – which at the end of the day they won’t be able to.: Sir who is out to destroy you?The one thing I am leading up to is life itself is (EUCHARISTIC) and so your right to say relational and covenantal. that means at some point the unclean must through repentance be brought to the Eucharistic Sacrifice of our Lord. and here is where those in the outer courts will not gain access into the inner court of his Kingdom. Do i believe that the grace of God by his Holy Spirit is there trying to woo the man or women into this Kingdom?yes but the sanctifying Grace to complete this Eucharistic transition Are held by the Chief stewards (BISHOPS/Holy See) and they are not at liberty to alter the Kings edict,and neither are you Andrew.

Sex abuse and the Catholic Church.

That these sex abuse tragedies are a horror for the catholic church is evident. But these horrors must be absorbed by us and taken in prayer to the wounds of Christ. that Satan has unleashed his hounds of hell through the Ignorant and or hateful is also a given. That the Church has begun a defense so as to put perspective is both right and just. That the Church has had to install programs to protect the children from this present darkness is Good. But the one element that is lacking is the ax of apostolic authority laying the ax to the root of the problem.
If any one makes one of these little ones to stumble it would be better if they would tie a millstone around there neck and drown themselves. now lets pray that this apostolic authority separates the wheat from the chaff. IT IS VERY OBVIOUS WITH POPE BENEDICT THIS PROCESS HAS BEGUN.

One other Word remains to be said however. The office of divine mercy has been given to the Church and as another brother has pointed out, these priestly offenders are not beyond the pale of repentance,healing and restoration. not to there former office, but as sinners in need of redemption. For us not to embrace this truth is to leave us open to reap the whirlwind of his judgment for us to. the our father says, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Shallom Brothers and Sisters. It has been awhile since I have written and thought I would do a bit of reflection.
After the Holy Spirit granted me a actual Grace in 1974 at a Nicky Cruz crusade in Cleveland Ohio and I was full of zeal and lacking in knowledge,I and many thousands like me who came out of mainstream quote"religion"
thought that Religion was bad or evil or at the least lacking the personal relationship.. that relationship of Jesus.
After the Holy Spirit integrated me back to the full deposit of the faith, ie:the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. I slowly realized that religion is not a bad thing. that the word religion has sensible meaning. It is The personal and corporate presence of God that we find in religion, at least a healthy religion.
The word religion is not a dirty word. There is no substitute for the personal presence of God, but it is the Word of God that created all that there is,including the word religion, its dynamics, and his essence that he is at liberty to ingest to this word. Slowly I have had to go looking for the baby I threw out with the Bath water.And that Baby was Christ. but Christ has not remained a baby and he wont let us reduce him to a baby locked in time. What he does do is lead and prod and punish us into a mature man or women of God so as to handle all things well. including Religion.
